Today is the 124th day of the NBA lockout and with no end in sight. Two more weeks of the season were canceled, and commissioner David Stern announced that there will not be a full season. Just like the last labor dispute cost us the fans almost half the season and we had to watch a boring season to say the least. The Spurs beat the Knicks and the season ended. It was by far the worst professional sports season ever. Now some 15 years later we are back to the same old thing. So after all these years why is David Stern still here? He should have been gone. Can we the fans vote or petition him out? After all we are the ones paying and suffering at the same time. How do we pay these people all this "tax" money and they still have all the control and power? They would have you believe that investment groups are paying for most of it, when in reality, the tax payers, the fans are paying for over 75% of the entire operation. Wake up people. It's time we do something about this Bull@#$%... Lets take the NBA back, and get that drunk ass devils (David Stern and Adam Silver) out. Are you with me? Until next time...Peace n Love

Today is the 123rd day of the NBA lockout, and with both sides not willing to budge we are still being deprived of the game we love. No LeBron, no Kobe, no D Rose, and no K.D. ( Kevin Durant). There has been several NBA players that have decided to take their talents overseas. Deron Williams to Turkey, Tony Parker playing for the French national team. Kobe headed to Italy, and Thabo Sefalosha going to Lithuania. As the lockout goes long, look for other superstars to head to not so greener pastures. Some of these players would like us to believe that it's because they need the money. Well anybody with any common sense wont believe that. Oh and lets not forget my boy Ty Lawson playing overseas too. But at least he had the balls to admit that he just didn't want to sit on the couch and get fat. These players have plenty of money. But the fact is they don't want to get lazy, and fat. Deron Williams is making $3 million per month overseas. These players and their agents know that they can get almost twice the money they can get here. And at the same time play the game they love. So with the NFL going through their lockout, now the NBA. Who's next? The WNBA, MLB, the PGA Tour. We never know. Blame George W. Bush for our country being totally screwed. And he got to just walk away scott free. While our economy drowns , and we lose everything from the sports we love, to our very own homes. What's next? And President Obama gets to be the scapegoat. Wow!!! Until next time. NBA trying to get richer.

The NBA is in it's 121st day of the lockout, and it doesn't look like it's going to end in time to start the season on time. The entire preseason was canceled and now the first two weeks of the regular season has been canceled. An estimated $130 million dollars in basketball related revenue has been lost. We as fans have been led to believe that this is about the NBA vs. the NBAPA. The players vs. the owners. When in all actuality it's more about the rich wanting to get richer, and also the rich wanting to have their cake and eat it too. Under the previous collective bargaining agreement, the players were getting 57% and the owners were getting 43%. Now the owners want a 50/50 split. Lets put that into perspective. The owners now want to take back over 6 billion dollars of the players share. As if they can suit up and put on the kinda show we are so used to seeing. Now lets view this from a reverse angle. Thats like the owner of Taco Bell getting less money than the employees. The players have been spoiled with all these lucrative contracts. Making 5 to 20 million dollars per year, and they aren't willing to give up a dime. So who do we as fans blame? The owners, the players, or both. Well we shouldn't blame either of them. What the media is not telling us, is that the NBA is an entity that is ran by a group of rich republicans who get a nice slice of the pie just for the logo. So the NBA starts a money fued between the owners and the players so that they get a bigger slice of the pie. It's really that simple. If the tax payers, and the fans were the real owners and operators of the league then we wouldn't have all this nonsense. Afterall we are the ones paying these salaries. Hopefully we will have at least half of the season. If not then we will be the only losers. The players and owners are already rich. But they will still continue to take the taxpayers money. That will never end.
